Watch the Skies for Lyrid Meteor Shower

The shower is likely to pick up late at night Monday, April 19.

Those who want to catch a glimpse of this celestial phenomenon should get outside during predawn hours on Thursday, April 22, 2021 when the shower is expected to peak. You might be able to catch it on the morning of April 23 as well.

Gardening with Kids

In this family friendly program, teen gardener Emma Biggs will let you in on the fun she's having in her own urban garden. Emma's passion for gardening has inspired her friends and neighbours to get growing and she'll show your family how easy it is to get in on the action too!

April Break: Spring into Art

You and your family are invited to spring into art this April Break! Join in the fun with five days of free, live virtual programming courtesy of the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Canadian Opera Company and Vancouver Art Gallery. Mix artmaking with fun performances and revealing behind-the-scenes tours.

Families with kids of all ages are invited to log-on daily from 2 to 5 pm EST, April 12 through 16, for this cross-country arts break. No registration is needed and sessions will be livestreamed on AGO.ca.


Spring into SHOES

Join us for everything SHOES this April Break. From exploring new online exhibitions and making recycled crafts to playing Shoebox Bingo LIVE, listening to our Storytime Series and joining us for a virtual tour, there’s something new each day to keep you and your kids entertained!
